The 2016 TITAN XD Diesel is equipped with an AISIN 6-speed transmission. This transmission is much heavier than other Nissan transmissions that you have encountered; weighing in at 396 lbs (180 Kg).
A special transmission jack adapter will be available as a required special tool (J-51981) for removing and installing the AISIN 6-speed transmission.
Be sure to use this adaptor; DO NOT support the weight of the AISIN 6-speed transmission on the transmission oil pan.
If the weight of the AISIN 6-speed transmission is supported by the transmission oil pan, the oil pan may be crushed.
