The Midtronics battery testers will continue to be updated on a quarterly basis to ensure the latest data is always available. When software updates are released, they are accessible via ASIST for both the Midtronics EXP-800NI and GR8-1200NI battery testers. The GRX-5000EV Module Charge Balancer updates will also occur as required.

Throughout the year, the testers will inform the user if an update is due and a warning countdown will be displayed (for approximately a 5 day period). If updates are not performed within the countdown time frame, the battery service functions will stop working until the update is installed.

The software updates are delivered via ASIST by connecting:

• GR8-1200-NI via Serial-Connector-to-Serial-Connector
• EXP-800 via USB-to-MicroUSB

The GRX-5000EV is updated via SD Card, and Infiniti Retailers will be notified when a new SD Card distribution will occur.
