Be aware of the clip locations and orientations to avoid damaging the finishers when removing or installing them.

Front Kick Plate Inner Removal

1. Reach in and grasp the inner bottom edge of the kick plate at the front and rear corners.

2. IMPORTANT: First pull the kick plate corner ends out away from the sill towards the inside of the vehicle. This will release the hook pawls at each inner corner.

3. After releasing the corner hook pawls you can remove the kick plate by pulling it straight up to disconnect clips.


Front Kick Plate Inner Installation

1. Position the kick plate so the clips at the front fit into the holes on the dash side finisher and the clips at the rear fit into the holes on the center pillar lower finisher.

2. Push down on the kick plate (starting at the rear and working forward) to snap clips into place.

3. Squeeze the kick plate at the front and rear to make sure the pawls at the front and rear inner corners are snapped in place.

Dash Side Finisher Removal

1. Start by lifting up at the bottom end of the finisher to pull it out a little.

2. Then insert your fingers up under the finisher and grasp bottom inside and outside end.

3. First, pull the finisher straight out towards the inside of the vehicle to disconnect the bottom clip.

4. Then, grasp the top and insert your other hand in behind the back edge at the top and pull out towards the inside of the vehicle to disconnect the top clip.

Dash Side Finisher Installation

Take care when pressing on the finishers because this is a blind install.

1. Align the two clips to the two mount points (holes) on the vehicle lower panel.

2. Once the clips are aligned, apply light pressure to engage the clips in the mounting holes.

Note:

• Use caution when re-installing interior components to avoid damage, scratches, or breaking of mounting clips. Refer to the vehicle service manual for more information.

• Verify all clips are fully engaged and locked.
